At Inbox Business Technologies, we are currently looking for a skilled Linux/Unix OS Admin to join our team. As a Linux/Unix OS Admin, you will be responsible for managing the Linux/Unix operating systems and ensuring their stability, security, and performance. You will work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise and implement best practices for system administration.

Responsibilities:Support enterprise infrastructures, particularly UNIX/Linux operating systems, ensuring high availability, resilience, and integrity.

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, and key processes, while reviewing system and application logs, and ensuring the completion of scheduled tasks such as backups.

Monitor operating system and server performance, recommending enhancements to optimize resource utilization and avoid potential bottlenecks.

Maintain records of system downtime and equipment inventory, apply firmware and software updates, and collaborate with vendors for support activities.

Gather technical information from stakeholders, develop action plans, and work to improve SLA/OLA with other functions and departments.

Manage and document configuration activities, maintaining an up-to-date inventory of systems and components.

Ensure system availability through periodic checks and standard maintenance routines.

Support production enterprise systems running on Linux (OEL, RHEL 8 and above, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS) & Whale Cloud New Star Cluster.

Implement security controls, perform periodic OS patching, and conduct firmware upgrades to safeguard systems.

Improve and report on enterprise system KPIs for operational and management reporting.

Utilize and implement automation utilizing Ansible Automation Tower and RedHat Satellite for efficient system management.

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Linux/Unix system administrator.

Proficiency in Linux and Unix operating systems.

Strong knowledge of system security and best practices.

Experience with system monitoring tools.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., LPIC, RHCSA) are a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
