Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management:- Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and manage team development.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Establish quality metrics and standards, and monitor compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO, GMP).
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Production, Engineering, and R&D, to resolve quality issues.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver training programs for QA staff and other employees on quality standards and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
- Identify potential risks to product quality and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Several years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
