Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and manage team development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Quality Assurance Systems:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Establish quality metrics and standards, and monitor compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO, GMP).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Production, Engineering, and R&D, to resolve quality issues.
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Training and Development:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for QA staff and other employees on quality standards and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks to product quality and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Several years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
