Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement efficient data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics, develop and maintain SQL queries for data transformation and cleansing, and work with cloud storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage for data ingestion and processing. The successful candidate will also have the chance to collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs. What You'll Do
As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics. You'll be responsible for:- Designing and implementing efficient data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics
- Developing and maintaining SQL queries for data transformation and cleansing
- Designing and developing integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies
- Configuring and managing APIs for data exchange
- Writing clean and maintainable code for integration logic
- Working with cloud storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage for data ingestion and processing
- Implementing best practices for data governance and quality control
- Collaborating with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs
What You Bring
The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience in Data Engineering or Integration Engineering, along with proven experience with Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse Analytics. She will have strong skills in:- Designing efficient data pipelines
- Developing SQL queries for data transformation and cleansing
- Using industry-standard tools for designing integration solutions
- Configuring APIs for data exchange
- Writing clean code for integration logic
- Working with cloud storage solutions
- Implementing best practices for data governance
