Job details

To ensure agreed Production volumes are met in a safe and sustainable manner with no incidents or harm to the environment, people, or the asset, through developed and motivated staff. Execution of Electrical Maintenance support activities and assigned projects on time and within budget with overall operational cost control. Manage the running of RCA and FMEA work groups. Assist and support the predictive initiative. Preparation of Specification for the new electrical equipment. Execution of Maintenance Electrical MOC's.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5-10 years of experience in Electrical maintenance within a reputed process plant in the Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical Industries.
Must be able to do ETAP Studies.
Should be able to do protection calculations and determine correct protection settings.
Should have thorough working knowledge of Synchronous machines, Power and distribution transformers, variable speed drives, HV/LV switchgears, UPS, and battery chargers.
Working experience in PLCs and microprocessor-based protection relays will be an added advantage.
Must have working experience in spare parts management and be able to prepare alternative specifications for obsolete spare parts for all electrical equipment.
Should be able to perform Electrical equipment and spare parts material technical evaluations.
Must have thorough knowledge of classified equipment inspections like Exe, Exd, Exp, IS loops.
Must have good knowledge of IEC 60079 standards.
Must have good exposure to earthing systems.
Must have good working exposure to Electrical Power Management Systems.
Must have good working knowledge of Electrical Switch Gears.
Must have experience in protective relays testing including primary and secondary injection testing of protection network.
Kharamaa Authorised Switching engineer authorization will be an added advantage.
Must have good exposure to Lighting & HVAC Systems.
A working knowledge of Schematic & Single line P&ID's and PFC Diagrams and engineering drawings.
Good degree of attitude to be accepted and obtain support and respect from all.
Must be able to work with all other discipline Supervisors, Technicians, and contract service departments.
Must have working experience in Management of change process.
Must be willing to perform standby duties for the Electrical Team.
