Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-established business group in Dubai, UAE. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Manager for their Farm and Agricultural projects who will be committed to the farm's success using the Hydroponic farming system. The manager's responsibilities include monitoring staff, crops, and livestock, purchasing supplies, preparing budgets and reports, and ensuring maximum profit for Hydroponics farming. You should be able to maintain professional networks and keep abreast of developments in agricultural science.
Responsibilities

Analyzing existing operations, crops, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
Conduct day-to-day farm operations in relationship to crop production. Field responsibilities include, but are not limited to soil preparation, planting, harvesting, weed, pest and disease management, livestock management, equipment maintenance and repair, etc.
Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understands expectations.
Document and ensure proper documentation of staff of field operations, research data collection needs, financial accounting, and maintain production records on a regular basis.
Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops, livestock, and also perform tests on soil and water.
Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery. Operate equipment safely and train staff on safe equipment operation (tractors, tractor implements, small engine equipment, and hand tools) in a safe and efficient manner.
Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm like fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, and grain.
Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
Support educational and outreach activities through field tours and presentations when necessary.
Collaborating with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports.
Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.
Support the research team in creating field experiments and completing field activities; some field data collection will be required.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in agriculture, animal science, or equivalent.
Additional courses in business management or administration are recommended.
Extensive managerial experience in a farming-related field.
A passion for agriculture.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible in hours as farm work can be unpredictable.

You should be able to maintain professional networks and keep abreast of developments in agricultural science. </p><h3> Responsibilities </h3><ol><li> Analyzing existing operations, crops, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements. </li><li> Conduct day-to-day farm operations in relationship to crop production. Wood is currently recruiting for a highly experienced and ambitious Project Director to manage a high profile contract during a period of substantial growth. The Project Director will be accountable for delivering a portfolio of projects to the agreed scope, specification, schedule and budget, and for managing change and customer relationships.<br />

RESPONSIBILITIES<br />
<br />
Project Execution:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Accountable for the Contract HSSE leadership, ensures a program of initiatives and auditing schedule are established, and that HSSE and quality management issues are proactively addressed at the top priority for the business</li>
	<li>P & L accountability with associated full commercial and financial responsibility including revenue delivery, margin and overhead management, budget and forecast determination and attainment,<br />
	<br />
	risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls, accounts payable / billing and cash collection</li>
	<li>Contributes to and reviews contract and project proposals and plans to establish timeframe, procedures for accomplishing the project, resource requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project. Ensures adherence to corporate policy and best practice and sets contract evaluation parameters</li>
	<li>Negotiates changes to contract scope with the customer. Follows Change Management process to identify and approve modifications to scope, cost, schedule and quality</li>
	<li>Pursues and develop opportunities for innovation, such as digitalization and technology use, work share and high value engineering centers, to bring value to Wood and customer</li>
	<li>Approves Contract procedures and Contract execution plan including the scope of work, deliverables list, master schedule, budget, org charts, risk register etc.</li>
	<li>Ensures competence of contract and project team members to carry out assigned work</li>
	<li>Oversees proposals and call-offs (may be single projects) within delegation of authority, ensuring compliance with contracting policy and standards of ethical conduct</li>
	<li>Monitors adherence to schedule, cost and quality and proactively intervenes to avoid slippage</li>
	<li>Ensures that the required project management software systems are established for the project and the supporting training is completed</li>
	<li>Ensure the project assurance protocol and schedule are established</li>
	<li>Involved in establishing terms and conditions, and wider scope and larger size of projects may require more visibility in the community as well as activity in attracting project staff</li>

	<li>University degree (bachelors or masters) in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience</li>
	<li>Project Management Professional (PMP), associate in project management (APM) or equivalent certification is preferred</li>

	<li>Typically requires broad and extensive pertinent experience, including senior project management experience, mastering their area and knowledgeable about impacts on other areas; of which substantial experience successfully managing major/complex international or remote location projects</li>
	<li>Expert in stakeholder management with extensive experience in managing challenging customer and stakeholders and able to coach and advise others in this area</li>
	<li>Has built, developed and led a team managing a portfolio of projects</li>
	<li>Must have ability to clearly focus on key issues within contract and drive to resolution</li>
	<li>Has excellent interpersonal skills and communicates well at all levels of the organization</li>
	<li>Proven strategic thinker who has the vision and drive to grow the contract with the customer</li>
	<li>Requires strong technical skill as relevant to the contract and project scope(s)</li>
	<li>Good level of experience in the related field, industry, and locations of the work</li>
	<li>Has thorough knowledge of project success and benefits management</li>
	<li>Experienced in assembling and managing multi-phase project budgets, including risk contingencies</li>
	<li>Expert Practitioner in Risk Management processes, well versed in how risks are transposed into cost, time and contingency estimates and forecasts</li>
	<li>Advanced knowledge of various forms of vendor contracts across many types of goods and services; able to create new appropriate contracting frameworks and negotiate to successful conclusion</li>
	<li>Able to manage complex major contract start-up, produce and communicate the project execution plan</li>
	<li>Experience of implementing successful contract performance improvement activities and techniques for recovering poor performance</li>

<p>&middot; Oversee the day-to-day operation and open orders in Visual and AX system, ensuring data accuracy for all orders for both departments - Part Sales and Operations.</p>

<p>&middot; Propose and implement best practices and solutions to enhance order processing, reduce lead times, and boost overall revenue performance. Engage with both departments in feedback sessions to ensure that improvements align with operational needs and sales goals.</p>

<p>The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements<br />
Tasks include:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Issue all the documents related to the definition and production of components ( pipe, fittings, etc.) needed for the construction of pipe lines, sea lines, etc.</li>
	<li>Support procurement and commercial office with technical analysis during project bid phase. Review Saipem Specifications for pipes and fittings man ufacturing</li>
	<li>Support procurement department to establish bidder lists, evaluating and pre-qualifying vendors, bid assessments, audits</li>
	<li>Review Supplier documentation for compliance with client/international specifications/rules</li>
	<li>Issue Technical Bid Evaluation for Linepipes and Fittings Supply</li>
	<li>Assist MPQT, review/comment subcontractor documentation, review the inspection and test plan</li>
	<li>Discuss and interface with the method project engineers and/or TM during both proposal preparation and projects to identify particular project requirements</li>
	<li>Liaise with welding , NDT and anticorrosion colleagues to identify critical requirements for product manufacturing that may affect Saipem installation activities and to promote innovative solutions</li>
	<li>Perform inspection site survey</li>
	<li>Report for validation to his technical group leader</li>
	<li>Coordinate material failure analysis</li>
	<li>Maintain contact with Line pipes manufacturers to be updated on new technologiesent/Materials Selection, in order to optimize overall quality and costs</li>
	<li>Perform materials selection or validate the materials selection performed by Others, by identification of possible internal and external corrosion mechanisms, taking into account the process data determined by relative disciplines and defining anti-corrosion strategies (selection of corrosion resistant material, chemical treatment, painting and coatings, cathodic protection, corrosion allowances and equipment design)</li>
	<li>Perform the corrosion rate calculation by using recognized models and software for sour and sweet services and evaluation of erosion allowances to validate the materials selection or perform the selection of the right CRA material</li>
	<li>Select chemical inhibition philosophy (e.g. CO2/H2S corrosion, O2 removal and control, presence of bacteria in oil and gas fluids, water treatment, seawater injection, etc.)</li>
	<li>Issue corrosion engineering documents</li>
	<li>Transfer the corrosion strategy to the disciplines responsible of CP, Painting and Coating</li>
	<li>Interface with other disciplines in order to provide corrosion-related inputs</li>
