Job Title: Piping Material Engineer
Location: Qatar
Project: NFPS3, Doha

Mission:
- Ensure the good design of the material of the piping network both at technical and cost level
- Issue technical part of inquiries, bid analysis and order for piping components
- Interface with other Piping specialists, project specialists and designers
- Refer to project piping and layout lead and to head of piping material section
Job tasks:
- Be responsible for the quality, respect of budget and respect of project schedule for piping material tasks
- Review the Client technical documentation and requirements
- Be responsible for the design of all piping components
- Perform wall thickness calculations of pipes
- Prepare mechanical valve specification for body of motorized valves
- Validate cost estimate
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in materials engineering may be preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Piping Material Engineer in the oil and gas industry or related sectors. Demonstrated track record in materials selection, specifications, and procurement for piping systems.
- Piping Materials Knowledge: In-depth understanding of piping materials, including alloys, metals, plastics, and their compatibility with various process fluids and environments.
