Role Overview: The Technical Project Manager will oversee engineering projects using ClickUp and work closely with the CTO to navigate technical challenges and adjust project priorities. This role requires a solid understanding of full-stack development with TypeScript and at least 3 years of experience in project management. Key Responsibilities: Project Management:
- Utilise ClickUp for planning, tracking, and managing engineering projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful delivery.
- Partner with the CTO to understand technical requirements and project goals.
- Reassess and adjust project priorities and plans based on feedback and evolving business needs.
- Conduct regular check-ins with the CTO to review project status and address any issues.
- Apply a strong understanding of full-stack TypeScript development to guide the engineering team.
- Address technical challenges and provide support to ensure the project meets technical requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication within the engineering team and with other departments.
- Organise and lead team meetings to review progress, set priorities, and resolve issues.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication of project goals, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Manage and prioritise inbound requests from stakeholders.
- Provide timely and clear updates to stakeholders on project status and changes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
- Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Proactively address issues that arise during the project lifecycle to minimise impact.
- Continuously assess and improve project management processes and tools to enhance team efficiency.
- Implement best practices for project management and team collaboration.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
- Proven experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools.
- Strong understanding of full-stack development with TypeScript.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Exceptional English communication skills are required to interact effectively with the team and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
- Familiarity with additional project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Experience with other engineering tools and technologies related to TypeScript development.
