My client, a leading investment bank, are seeking an experienced C++ Market Access Developer to join their team and play a key role in developing high-performance market access systems that drive their electronic trading operations. As a C++ Market Access Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining low-latency market access systems that enable their traders to execute orders swiftly and efficiently across various financial markets. You will work closely with trading desks, quant teams, and technology specialists to implement robust solutions, optimize performance, and ensure seamless connectivity to exchanges and liquidity providers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of their electronic trading platform. What you offer:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a C++ developer in the financial industry, with a focus on market access systems, electronic trading, or low-latency applications.
  • Strong proficiency in multi-threaded application development for high-performance, low-latency systems is preferred.
  • Experience with market data protocols (e.g., FIX, FAST), exchange gateways, and electronic trading platforms.
  • Knowledge of algorithmic trading, order routing, and risk management concepts in electronic trading environments.
  • Familiarity with network programming, socket communication, and low-level system architecture.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, collaborating with traders, quants, and technology experts.
  • Good command of written and spoken English is required.
