Cyber Security Specialist

You would be responsible for securing both the Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems of the organization. It involves vulnerability assessment/management, security control design and implementation, security event monitoring and incident response. You should have a deep understanding of both IT and OT systems and cybersecurity risks. Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular vulnerability scanning, assessments and s ecurity audits of both IT and OT systems to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Perform security evaluation on both IT and OT systems to identify, prioritize and track vulnerabilities with recommendations on mitigation approaches.
• Recommend security controls on both IT and OT systems and their related assets.
• Monitor and analyse security events in both IT and OT systems.
• Conduct regular security reviews to ensure that the organization's IT and OT systems are compliant with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security control is integrated into IT and OT systems.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years with hands on technical experience in IT or OT Cyber Security roles.
• Solid experience in Vulnerability Management with Scanning / Assessment is a MUST.
• Solid experience in Windows Server system, Linux systems, Virtual Machine, Network administration and monitoring is a definite advantage.
• Knowledge in industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, ProfiNet is advantageous.
• Sounds knowledge in IT Security / Network Monitoring / Threat Monitoring.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, project management skills and vendor management skills.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and capability in both spoken and written Chinese (Putonghua and simplified Chinese) are advantageous.
