Job details

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the clearing of various financial instruments and daily book-keeping
  • Maintain smooth operation in back office and provide full task support to Frontend Teams
  • Handle the daily settlement operations of various financial instruments (mainly in securities and futures contracts) and daily accounting duties such as vouchers preparation, bank reconciliation
  • Handle IPO application, nominees services and corporate actions
  • Handle full set of accounts and segregation of funds
  • Review the daily cash flow and funding arrangement
  • Prepare SFC reporting and compliance (liquid capital computation, FRR etc.)
  • Prepare management reports and budgeting for senior management
  • Implement proper internal control and procedures in mitigating operational risks
  • Participant in UAT and system enhancement
  • Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years experience in banking or financial institution, preferably in processing settlement and back office operations in Securities and/or Derivatives Market
  • Familiar with CCASS & DCASS operations, securities and futures accounting, FRR
  • Ability to work under pressure efficiently and willing to work overtime
  • Self-motivated, independent, and with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge in Mandarin preferred
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as our Assistant/Deputy Business Strategy Manager
