About our Client: Join the management team of a prominent regulatory authority in South Africa. This public entity plays a vital role in overseeing a key development sector in the country. Salary Package: R1.1 Million – R1.3 Million CTC Per Annum Benefits: 13th cheque as part of the total package, which also includes medical aid and pension contributions. About the Role: The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of accomplishing the development and implementation of HR organisational strategy and people management policy. In addition, transferable skills to develop and implement employee value and business strategy as well as organisational design would be desirable. Managing and improving employee relations and HR information systems would be a central part of the responsibilities for this role that will connect to the talent and organisational design responsibilities within the context of business unit integration. Requirements:

  1. A relevant recognised qualification at NQF Level 7 or equivalent;
  2. A postgraduate qualification at NQF Level 8;
  3. A minimum of three years’ experience in a senior management HR position or 10 years in middle management;
  4. Extensive human resource management experience and specialist knowledge in labour law, organisational design, and learning and development will be an advantage;
  5. Registered with a human resource professional body;
  6. Must have in-depth knowledge of all applicable legislation relating to human resources;
  7. Proficient in Microsoft packages and Sage VIP 300;
  8. The ideal candidate will be a transformational leader with strong managerial skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the People Management Business Unit;
  2. Lead talent management and organisational design and development;
  3. Ensure a reliable Human Resource Information System;
  4. Develop and implement a people management strategy and policy;
  5. Development and implementation of a learning organisation strategy and roadmap;
  6. Improve and implement the learning and development strategy;
  7. Develop a comprehensive employee value proposition strategy;
  8. Provide employment relations support and manage labour relations with stakeholders.
