About The Role:Reporting directly to the Director Tech Delivery, the position requires a high level of technical skills and knowledge of the Localization process. Possible to lead projects, this position also requires good organizational, man-management and communication skills.Responsibilities:Key responsibility will be to analyze the skill and resource required to process any eLearning Project (especially Articulate Storyline/Flash/Lectora based courses markup languages (XML, HTML).). Person should be good communicator and have ability to co-ordinate and communicate with Project Managers independently. Should be good learner and have the ability to do RnD to get out with solutions.Job Title: Manager EngineeringShift: 11.30 AM - 8.30 PMJob Prerequisites:-Must Have:Expert in Storyline Articulate, Rise, Articulate Studio and Captivate 2.Experience in development or localization of eLearning courses.Experience of 1-2 years as a Manager with a team of atleast 5-10 resources1-2 Years of experience in Localization, working on Western and Asian Languages.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to priorities and manage multiple tasks.Strong communication and organizational skills.Good level of written and spoken communication in English.Added AdvantageKnowledge of SDL Trados Studio and Passolo.Basic knowledge of macro, scripting, programming languages and regular expressionMain Purpose of JobLeads groups that may have multiple sub-departments who provide technical services toanalyze and prepare assets and localizable content to facilitate efficient and high qualitytranslations and implementation in the customer's environment. Applies significanttechnical and functional expertise to enable a quality focused and responsive team.Works with his/her team and management to address a range of complex and/or criticalrequirements.Roles and Responsibilities:Operational Excellence - Manages the overall operation of size team or multidepartment organization responsible for the full range of technical services to drive the productivity and effectiveness in the analysis and preparation of assets/localizable content. Translates overall delivery project plans/goals into specific objectives for his/her technical delivery team. Ensures team goals and status are aligned to project goals and appropriately communicated to relevant stakeholders. Develops and monitors plans, schedules, budgets, progress and issues to ensure outcomes are being achieved. Provides direction and expert guidance on addressing technical requirements and issues. ยท Delivers Quality, Value, and Results - Drives results by monitoring and evaluating multiple variables that can affect achievement of goals (e.g., resourcing, budgets, methods/tools, and processes.) Provides localization expertise and technical leadership to the team to improve overall quality and results (e.g., process improvement, coaching/feedback, execution.) Facilitates collaboration with project team/project manager to outline requirements, allocate resources, and establish timeline to ensure expectations and results are achieved.Leadership Excellence - Enables the team to deliver exceptional results by establishing clear departmental objectives, communicating how objectives support overall business goals/strategy, and helping team members understand how they contribute. Recruits, selects, and develops new team members. Understands and leverages the unique skills and expertise of the team to the fullest potential and expands opportunities for growth and development. Effective in removing barriers to success and addressing performance issues. Fosters a climate of collaboration with other teams and clients.Functional Excellence - Contributes to the overall strategy of the Technical Services Delivery organization. Works with other teams (e.g., Language Delivery, Product development/management) to provide input on product functionality and quality. Provides thought leadership and helps to develops the overall expertise of the function by leading and/or participating in learning and development initiatives (e.g., mentoring/coaching, on-the-job development, formal learning.)Relationship Building - Builds trust and credibility with stakeholders by enabling his/her team to quickly identify/understand requirements and resolve technical issues in order to deliver exceptional quality. Fosters collaboration across organizational boundaries in order to deliver the best possible solutions to clients.
