Job Description & Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Relations Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully incorporating entities in Qatar and submitting various applications before relevant authorities, such as but not limited to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Financial Center, Ministry of Interior, and Qatar Free Zone. This role requires an individual who has built strong relationships with ministries and governmental entities within Qatar and can navigate the complexities of government processes with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

• Entity Incorporation and Compliance:

Oversee the process of incorporating new entities in Qatar, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and regulations that may affect the processes in Qatar.

• Government Liaison and Application Submission:

Act as the primary point of contact for all interactions with government ministries and entities.

Prepare and submit all types of applications, including permits, licenses, and approvals, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Follow up on application statuses, expediting processes where necessary, and resolving any issues that may arise.

• Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within government ministries and entities.

Leverage existing relationships to facilitate smooth and efficient interactions with governmental bodies.

• Strategic Advisory:

Provide strategic advice to the firm on public relations matters, including potential impacts of government policies and procedures.

Advise on best practices for engaging with government entities and on the implications of regulatory changes.

• Documentation and Reporting:

Ensure all documentation related to government interactions is accurately maintained and organized.

Prepare regular reports on the status of applications and government relations activities for senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a public relations or government liaison role within Qatar.

Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in Qatar, particularly as it pertains to entity incorporation and government applications.

Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government officials and stakeholders at all levels.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
