Manager Accounts and Finance (Karachi)

Industry: Finance and Accounts Location: Karachi Position: Manager Accounts and Finance Grade: Department Head Education: MBA with Part qualified (ACCA, CA, or ICMA) Experience: 4 – 6 years of experience in the Accounts and Finance department team of a shipping and logistic/Distribution company. Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for managing the receivables and payables in an aggregate manner.
2. On a daily basis, check the record of financial transactions and maintain company ledgers.
3. Check, review, and record financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables, and purchase orders.
4. Prioritize the payment and billing of external service providers, contractors, and vendors.
5. Ensure compliance with Income Tax/Sales Tax filing Monthly/Quarterly.
6. Maintain a good relationship with stakeholders and banks.
7. Monthly/Bi-Monthly review of ledgers and accounts for reconciliations and identify discrepancies; draft reports and proceed with corrective actions.
8. Keep track of payments and deposits to the bank.
9. Actively connect with management for daily reporting.
10. Able to manage payroll and employee benefit activities in a timely manner.
11. Understanding and knowledge of contemporary ERP Accounting Modules.
12. Coordinate with external/internal auditors, tax/legal consultants.
