Job Description: Senior Highway Design Engineer Qatar Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Highway Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the design engineering team performing a variety of engineering tasks related to the civil roadway and highway design projects. What You'll Be Doing:
Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the projects including coordination of technical disciplines and development of project alternatives, and preliminary and final design.
Design horizontal and vertical roadway alignments, and super elevation diagrams.
Design of ramps, interchanges, and road apertures.
Perform quantity calculations and project estimates.
Managing Associate Engineers in completing project deliverables.
Develop details for construction, detour, etc.
Coordinate with project team and interdisciplinary technical personnel.
Assist the project manager in completing the project deliverables.
Ensure project adherence to client criteria and scope.
Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
Assist in obtaining, analyzing, and circulating technical and contractual information to project disciplines.
May be responsible for scope development, scope management, and commercial performance of projects to meet project goals and objectives.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Degree in Engineering.
10 years or more of related work experience.
Roadway & Highway design experience in Qatar projects.
Geometric alignments design.
Civil 3D experience is essential.
Must be MME certified.

Lead the efforts to define and implement a Milaha-wide strategy with the aim to guarantee a structured approach to the management of a category(s). That approach takes into consideration the demand analysis, market and vendor analysis, risk assessment and potential value levers in order to drive scale, help deliver cost reductions, increase efficiency, and maximize value.<br />
Key Roles & Responsibilities<br />
Leadership & Management<br />
1. Lead a team of procurement specialists (matrix) handling all personnel development, KPI management, succession planning, etc. Provide recommendations on recruitment, selection, and employee assessment to ensure compliance with HR policies. Foster long-term corporate success through motivated staff, coach subordinates, identify training and career development needs, recommend training courses, and oversee personnel records and resources to meet operational requirements.<br />
Strategy<br />
1. Manage and optimize the assigned category(s) according to the Milaha-wide Procurement strategy.<br />
2. Develop and implement multi-year category strategies which drive additional value for the organization. Align the program with strategic business objectives, communicate the strategy to stakeholders, collect feedback, and derive initiatives in line with strategic requirements<br />
3. Responsible for strategic procurement processes within the category (incl. supplier portfolio management, market analytics, RfX & sourcing of typically larger value orders, supplier selection, purchase order creation & placement, PO follow-up and issue management).<br />
4. Present the category or individual sourcing strategies in front of the Tender Committee or leadership if requested.<br />
5. Monitor the global supplier market for the assigned category. Plan for material and service availability by analyzing trends, delivery systems, and markets. Conduct market assessments, cost models, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership analyses. Evaluate demand patterns/cycles, optimize purchasing power, gather and manage datasets, and provide global market intelligence. Utilize analytics to monitor procurement volumes, usage patterns, inventory levels, costs, and identify pooling opportunities, cost-saving possibilities, and areas for improvement.<br />
Sourcing & Supplier (Vendor) Management<br />
6. Manage key supplier relationships and execute supplier performance reivews.<br />
7. Manage escalations within assigned categories to ensure ll matters are resolved, or escalated ot the nect level.<br />

			'description' => '<p>Our Qatar based oil and gas client is looking to hire multiple <b>Senior Safety Officers</b> to work alongside the SHEQ Division Manager.<br />

Key Job Accountabilities</p>

<p>1. Plan & coordinate activities of safety personnel in the area of responsibility.<br />
2. Support continuous enhancement of safety culture by leading by example, coaching and advising personnel on safe behaviours and practices.<br />
3. Implement approved inspections regime for safety equipment in the area of responsibility to ensure safe use of all equipment.<br />
4. Act as Facilitator for Safety Incident Management supporting department objectives.<br />
5. Facilitate Asset Safety tours and SHE committee meetings for the department. 6. Participate in investigation of assigned safety incidents and report to management.<br />
7. Ensure asset specific trend analysis are conducted and regularly discussed with management and personnel for the department.<br />
8. Conduct safety assessments ensuring compliance with safety procedures and programs.<br />
9. Participate and contribute to Hazard/Risk assessments including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Formal Risk Assessment (FRA) and Risk Register reviews.<br />
10. Participate in Emergency drill and Exercises and support real emergencies as DSR (Duty Safety Representative) supporting department objective.<br />
11. Develop, recommend and conduct training programs in safety principles and practises.<br />
12. Ensure the effectiveness and on demand use of safety equipment and facilities are kept in the best working condition by coordinating and monitoring preventive maintenance programs in order to ensure optimum operational status and readiness to use.<br />
13. Act as a source of guidance in investigating incidents and participate in the preparation, review and assessment of statistics.<br />
14. Inspect new projects construction/installation work to ensure contractor personnel are aware of and comply with the client safety practises and regulations.<br />

QatarEnergy is looking to recruit a Lead Systems Engineer (Systems Security) that will join a team responsible for overall protection, confidentiality, integrity and availability of the ICT systems that supports QatarEnergy&#39;s business operations. The lead will be accountable for the overall systems security controls design and implementation for the systems information security domains and ensure robust systems security controls architectures based on current International security best practices and industry frameworks in line with ICT KPIs and CSFs. In addition, the new member will be responsible to support and maintain the day-to-day operations and system change lifecycle of QatarEnergy&#39;s critical security devices, tools & services and shall provide senior technical support for all perimeter security devices whilst providing leadership & mentoring to the team members. The role will be an enabler to the company&#39;s success through development and implementation of security practices that create a secure working environment.<br />

<b>Education</b><br />
&bull; A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent Engineering field. &bull; Relevant information security certification is a plus (such as Security+, CISSP, or CCIE) &bull; Solid understanding of application transport and infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, and Microsoft AD, and ability to support these applications/protocols when accessed through systems security appliances. &bull; Certified specialist in systems security related systems such as: Endpoint security protection, application whitelisting, DLP, PKI, host-based firewalls, least privilege & password management solutions. &bull; Knowledge of operating systems, applications and databases security principles. &bull; Excellent writing skills with the ability to write technical blueprints, high- and low-level design documents, standards, processes, procedures, manuals, feasibility studies, and tendering proposals. &bull; Excellent back MS office applications (MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio) skills.<br />

	<li>Perform technical tasks assigned by the Piping and Layout Lead, related with design, verification or study activities.</li>
	<li>Interface with other Project Specialists, Designers and Draftsman.</li>
	<li>Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem.</li>
</ul>

<p><b>Job tasks: </b></p>

<ul>
	<li>Execute tasks within the designated area, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.</li>
	<li>Provide technology and commercial support for development.</li>
	<li>Evaluate feasibility and support bidding phase/commercial proposal development.</li>
	<li>Contribute to bill of material and plot plan layout proposals.</li>
	<li>Assist in defining man-hour and cost estimates.</li>
	<li>Provide Piping and Layout engineering support for various projects.</li>
	<li>Ensure project goals and quality requirements are met.</li>
	<li>Analyze technical documents and identify potential risks.</li>
	<li>Seek cost-saving solutions for the project.</li>
	<li>Validate estimations and review produced documents.</li>
</ul>

<p><b>Requirements: </b></p>

<ul>
	<li>Education: Bachelor&#39;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master&#39;s degree may be preferred but not mandatory.</li>
	<li>Experience: Proven experience as a Piping and Layout Engineer in the oil and gas industry or related sectors. Experience with project execution and construction activities is advantageous.</li>
	<li>Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of piping design principles, layout engineering, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, API, ISO). Proficiency in using 3D modeling software and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, PDS).</li>
	<li>Project Experience: Familiarity with project phases, from feasibility studies and bidding to construction and start-up. Experience in coordinating and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.</li>
	<li>Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements and their application in piping and layout design.</li>
