About the company: The company leads the way in technological innovation, providing groundbreaking advancements and reliable insights in electronic design, simulation, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and optimization. Responsibilities:

  1. Define and develop a power supply/electronic load solution to meet customer and market demands.
  2. Define the test parameters and capture new requirements for power supply/electronic load.
  3. Collaborate with different teams to ensure the power supply/electronic load meets system requirements.
  4. Actively participate in design verification testing and characterization of power supply/electronic load in the lab.
  5. Provide support to other teams to facilitate manufacturing of the power supply/electronic load products.
Qualifications: Work-based competencies:
  1. Good knowledge in power conversion topologies including AC-DC and DC-DC converters (e.g., AC rectification, PFC, flyback, forward, half/full bridge, resonant, etc.).
  2. Appreciation of cost/performance trade-offs in power supply design for cost-sensitive and high-volume applications.
  3. Magnetics design knowledge and experience.
  4. Control loop theory and practice in the context of power supplies.
  5. Good understanding of international EMC and electrical safety regulations and circuit techniques to achieve compliance at minimal BOM cost.
  6. Proficiency with software tools such as LTspice, TINA, Saber, Matlab, etc.
  7. Demonstrated ability to write accurate and concise technical documentation including bench evaluations and simulation results.
  8. Practical bench skills and confident user of lab equipment.
  9. Familiarity with digital circuit design, microcontrollers, FPGA prototyping, and Verilog programming.
