Nursery Practitioner Full Time

*Little Ripley Day Nurseries seeks an enthusiastic nursery practitioner, qualified to Level 2 or above, to join our friendly and experienced team at our brand nursery purpose-built day nursery.* As a family-run business with an established and growing group of nurseries, you will have the opportunity to progress your career whilst applying your knowledge and expertise to help create a nurturing and engaging environment in which children can thrive. *Salary and Benefits** *Up to £12 per hour £24,960 per annum** Full provision of training (both virtual and in-person) at all levels will be provided by Little Ripley, with all costs covered. * Routine salary reviews and opportunity for in house promotion / career progression. * 28 days of annual leave as a minimum, including bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthday with opportunity for increased annual leave based on positive attendance and increasing service. * Free staff meals provided on-site. *Responsibilities** Ensure children are cared for in a happy, secure and stimulating environment. * Have knowledge, understanding and confidence in keeping children safe and implement Little Ripley’s safeguarding procedures appropriately. * Carry out a key person role, building effective relationships with the parents and children and meeting the children’s individual care and learning needs. * Supervise, observe, encourage, and support the children in meeting their personal targets through their interest in ensuring they progress and develop leading them onto the path of school readiness. * Plan, prepare and deliver the curriculum with the team to consistently meet the requirements of the EYFS. *Schedule** Full-time: Monday-Friday * 40 hours per week *Our Nurseries** Little Ripley now consists of a group of sixteen nurseries in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Great Barr and Kingstanding areas. * All nurseries Ofsted rated as Outstanding or Good. * Open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday-Friday. * We are open all year round (52 weeks) and are closed on Bank Holidays. * Our aim at Little Ripley is to provide a happy, safe and caring environment in which both children and staff can thrive. *Safeguarding** Little Ripley Day Nurseries is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. * Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.
