The opportunity  We are seeking a Data & Analytics Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience in data analysis, reporting and data processes/management. This role will be responsible for providing detailed and actionable insights through data analysis, developing pricing models, and supporting decision-making processes to drive the growth of our Korean skincare store. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for analytics to empower the business through data.  In this role, you will: Performance Analysis, Reporting and Insights:

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth, including sales performance, campaigns and website / customer analytics 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs
  • Simplify complexity and interpret data in context of business objectives in order to provide regular insights and recommendations.
Customer Deep Dive Insights:
  • Analyze user data to understand purchasing behaviors, preferences, and segments.
  • Enrich data from internal and external sources to build customer profile understanding to support acquisition and retention activities
  • Deep dive into website analytics and user journey funnels to identify pain points and areas of improvement
Pricing Modeling and Management:
  • Develop and implement dynamic customer and buying pricing models to optimize revenue and profitability across the full product catalog.
  • Acquire market data and monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust pricing strategies accordingly in collaboration with the merchandising team.
  • Conduct pricing experiments to determine the most effective pricing strategies.
Data Systems and Processes:
  • Launch and maintain internal data tools, infrastructure and processes
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data across all platforms.
  • Manage data collection processes and implement best practices for data management.
  • Work with tech teams to improve data infrastructure and systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in quantitative disciplines such as Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in Analytics or Data Science roles
  • Experience in consumer-facing industries is a plus, especially fields such as e-commerce, retail, or FMCG. Interest in the beauty and skincare industry is an advantage. 
  • High competency in analytic softwares, visualization tools, database management tools and programming languages 
  • Strong problem solving skills and curiosity, with an ability to handle ambiguity and complex challenges, whilst thriving in a fast moving startup environment.
  • A strong bias for action, coupled with a data-driven and deep dive mindset to analyze and investigate for continuous iteration and improvement.
  • An uncompromising attitude towards high standards, high performance and high ownership: Taking full responsibility to drive projects to success and even additional responsibilities to reach company goals.
  • An unwavering appetite to learn and continuously disrupt themselves with fresh ideas and new technologies. A passion for emerging technologies related to Machine Learning and AI is a major advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a highly multicultural team 
  • Fluency in English
