Registered Massage Therapist Program Instructor

First College is a certified private College located in Kelowna, British Columbia , and is designated by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the BC government Ministry of Advanced Education.We are currently expanding and looking for dynamic individuals to join our team as a part-time instructor / student clinic supervisor of our Registered Massage Therapy program. Qualifications : Rregistered Massage Therapist/Chiropractor/Physiotherapist/other related professions who is interetsed in teaching, with a minimum of two years of experience in the field and post-secondary credentials related to their teaching assignments.Preferred Qualities: Undergraduate degree and post-secondary teaching experience in adult learning is preferable but not required. Responsibilities: Instructional duties may include any or all of the following:Delivery of prepared course materials through in-person lectures and use of a learning management system.Conducting courses in accordance with provided course outline, the class schedule, and all instructional materials adopted for the course.Evaluating and marking students' quizzes, exams and assignments and provide students with feedbacks.Communicate with the program director on any issue related to student participation or course delivery.Overseeing the pratice of RMT student clinic, providing students mentorship and feedbacks.Perform other duties as required. Skills and Abilities Applicants should have a strong dedication to working collaboratively with other faculty members and the administration team, exhibit proficient communication skills in both written and verbal English, and possess effective interpersonal abilities. They should also feel at ease using computer technology and show familiarity with relevant programs related to their field of expertise.
