Business Development Manager - Construction Industry On behalf of our client, a prestigious global leader in waste management solutions we are looking to recruit an experienced Western Educated Business Development Manager to work in a Multicultural environment in Dubai.Responsibilities include aggressively marketing the client's solutions/income/business each year, whilst working closely with the technical and estimating team. Pricing of projects/ jobs and contract and client negotiations will be a key aspect. You will head up the expansion of new markets and continue to expand existing markets and client portfolio. Along with driving peak performance and sales success across the organisation, you will also be involved with the tender process and will provide project support and liaise with clients until approval of proposals and drawings.Extensive travel to KSA, Qatar and new markets within the Middle East and Europe will be essential.REQUIRED SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE• The successful applicant will be Male, a native English speaker (or at least Western Educated) with excellent communication skills.• An engineering qualification, ideally an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree is required.• Construction/ MEP experience is preferred.• Experience in the Middle East is essential.• Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years work experience, with at least 5 years spent in Business Development at a senior level.• You must be able to display a proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business whilst working to targets.• Financial and negotiation skills are necessary. Western or Western educatedA mechanical or Electrical EngineerBDM experience of at least 5 years with at least 2 years of this spent in the Middle East working on BDM projects within the construction industry. This could be in Waste Disposal, HVAC, MEP Services, Facilities Management etc.Please make sure you send your cv as a WORD DOCUMENT and list the types of construction projects you have been involved with as a BDM.Also on a cover note please detail your current salary and full package + your notice period.
