(3+ years, JDK 11 and above)• Experience with responsive web design using JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS. (2+ years)• Experience with MVC web applications using Spring Framework, Hibernate, JSP, and Tomcat. • Experience with XML technologies such as XSD, XSLT, XPath, XQuery, DOM, SAX, and STAX. • Experience with SQL. • Experience with web services. • Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, UML, and design patterns. • Experience with concurrency / multi-threading is an asset. • Experience with Jenkins, Docker is an asset. JOB PURPOSE: A Java developer will be responsible for developing the code for the provided solution for Smart Underwriting Application'. The person should have a good understanding about the web services, java and web application to create/customize the application. JOB DESCRIPTION & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Configure the changes needed for developing the functionality.

• Development of restful web services, clients for third party services, storing data in staging tables in compliance with coding standards.
• Delivery of work estimated for proposed changes, both small and large in scope
• Driving the end-to-end delivery of the functionality/ unit developed until production release.
• Ensuring the processes and best practices are followed throughout the development.
• Perform unit and integration testing for business requirements.
• Impact analysis of the changes to be done
• Grooming the other team members
• Code management and release activities.
• Work collaboratively with the entire Global IQX team to constantly improve processes.
