Our team in Sunway currently has an opening for a Manager, Human Resources (APAC Shared Services Center) YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Human Resources Manager to act as a strategic business partner to the APAC Shared Services Center. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, providing comprehensive HR support, and driving employee engagement and development. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnership:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on all HR-related matters.
  • Understand the business unit's goals, challenges, and talent needs to develop and implement tailored HR strategies.
  • Proactively identify and address HR issues that may impact business performance.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings and contribute to the development of the overall business strategy.
  • Talent Management:
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with hiring managers to attract, select, and retain top talent.
  • Design and implement performance management programs that drive high performance and employee engagement.
  • Identify and develop high-potential employees through targeted training and development programs.
  • Implement succession planning strategies to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on all employee relations matters.
  • Manage and resolve employee grievances and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Organizational Development:
  • Assess the organization's culture and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation.
  • Promote employee engagement through various initiatives and programs.
  • HR Operations:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR function.
  • Manage HR budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting and analytics.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification in HR is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management particularly in the Shared Services environment, with at least 2 years in a business partnering role.
  • Proven track record of success in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
