General Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the B2B SaaS space and a deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles. This role involves heavy prospecting to mid-market companies in the US, setting up meetings with CFOs, VP Finance and Controllers, and working closely with our sales and marketing teams. Key Responsibilities :

  • Prospecting : Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting, including 100+ calls daily, to identify and qualify potential mid-market clients.
  • Meeting Setting : Schedule meetings for our Account Executives with finance leaders to discuss Tunnel’s offerings and solutions.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective outreach strategies.
  • CRM Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions.
  • Platform Utilization : Leverage Apollo and LinkedIn for targeted outreach and relationship building.
  • Follow-Up : Conduct follow-up activities to ensure continued engagement and move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the B2B payments space.
  • Reporting : Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress towards goals.
Requirements :
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as an SDR or similar role in B2B SaaS sales
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and booking meetings with US-based prospects
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work EST hours from India (typically 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST)
  • Strong understanding of the B2B sales process and sales methodologies
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales engagement tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
