- Coordinate and overseeing the operations of the distribution centre, ensuring enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, improve service quality and timely delivery of goods.
- Implement Company' policies and regulations in the distribution centre and suggest improvements based on the specific business needs and optimize sorting procedures to improve efficiency.
- Oversee all aspects of the distribution center's operations, promote standardization of operations within the center.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to handle peak workloads.
- Monitor the staff productivity, analyze the underlying causes, and continually improve efficiency, and reduce misclassification, loss, and complaint rates through process optimization and equipment upgrades.
- Hire, train, manage a team of distribution center staff and foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Handle emergency situations, including workplace injuries and incidents.
- Implement quality control measures , set performance targets and KPIs to maintain high service standards and continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.
- A SPM, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is often preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related industry. Previous team leader or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide a diverse team of employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams, customers, and management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work rotating shift.
