We are seeking a professional and organised person to join our Primary School as a Receptionist. The successful candidate will be required to welcome all visitors and members of the community to the School and must therefore have excellent customer service skills and timekeeping. Acting as the ‘first point of contact’ for visitors, it is vital they reflect a positive image of the School. The receptionist will interact with students and staff, answer telephone calls, receive and sort mail, and carry out administrative tasks as directed. This requires the ability to prioritise workload and work closely with the wider team to help ensure the smooth running of the School. Start Date: Sunday 01 September 2024 Hours: 07:15-15:00, Sunday-Thursday. Contract Type: Local hire. This position is a full-time one and requires work during the school holidays. THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A proven ability to work on their own initiative.
  • Excellent English - both spoken and written.
  • A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to adults and children.
  • A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem, and progress of everyone at the school.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants must be residents in Bahrain at the time of appointment.
  • Bahraini nationals must not be registered as owning any businesses or hold any company sponsorship.
  • Non-Bahraini nationals must have a dependent visa through their Partner's employer, and your partner must be registered with the LMRA.
  • A copy of your educational certificates(s) - e.g., School Leavers Certificate, GCSE Certificate(s), A-level Certificate(s), Degree Certificate, with your School Leavers Certificate being the minimum that we can accept.
