From a technology perspective, this organisation is a leader in its domain, significantly investing in AI, Machine Learning and automation technologies within an established cloud native (Azure), DevOps and Agile environment. We’re looking for a Senior Developer or Senior Engineer or Technical Lead to work with Product Owners, Architecture, Engineering Leads and Executive Technology Stakeholders to shape and deliver disruptive legal-tech solutions. You’ll require the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience operating in senior development & engineering positions following industry best practices
- Extensive experience of the modern C# and the .Net ecosystem (.Net 6 or later) within Azure environments
- Strong front end skills inc. Javascript, Typescript, HTML and CSS
- Extensive knowledge of design patterns with practical experience of at least 3
- Extensive experience of Event Driven Architecture
- Extensive experience of containerization with Docker or Kubernetes
- Extensive experience with distributed systems
- Experience with PaaS or IaC
- Demonstrable understanding of asynchronous vs parallel programming
- Demonstrable understanding of immutability & idempotence
- Experience authoring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with a variety of document database technologies (e.g. Cosmos BD or Mongo DB)
- Experience of modern API development e.g. Swagger
- Experience of UI development with Blazor
- In depth knowledge of scalable, secure & high performance cloud engineering platforms
- Exposure to Python, OpenAI and Infrastructure as Code beneficial but not essential
- Strong testing experience (e.g. stress & load) with an understanding of testing pyramid
- Extensive experience in Agile, product centric engineering environments
- A demonstrable passion for continuous learning
- Outstanding communications and stakeholder engagement & management skills, proven in large corporate settings
- An entrepreneurial thinker with a growth mindset
