The Risk Consulting practice of IKS (MMGS) for the UK region is looking to recruit an Senior Manager experienced in delivering Business Continuity Services. The strategic risk services, has a particular emphasis on Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management and Cyber/Information Security offerings. The purpose of the role is helping to deliver projects and through the building and maintenance of effective client relationships aid the development of business. There range of duties are varied and whilst key responsibilities are expressed here they include the flexible execution of additional consulting, analytical and operational tasks as reasonably expected from time to time, i.e. assist in business development from writing proposals, delivering presentations to the sale of new engagements. We will count on you for: Client Service - BCP :

• Develop the solution across industries and clients.
• Advising clients in transforming business continuity and disaster recovery solutions
• Driving operational and technical resilience solutions to meet the current threats and enable timely business recovery.
• Performing BIA, RA for client processes
• Engaging in BCM assessments; resilient process and technology design, operational and service enhancement processes
• Advising clients on technical architecture, data resilience, testing and failover automation activities
• Implement BCM, CM, Emergency Response and ITDR framework.
• Managing and providing oversight to the engagement lifecycle
• Contributing to the eminence of the MMGS’s BCM team
• Supporting and promoting team development and talent related activities

Communication

• Develops and effectively delivers complex written and oral communications, such as proposals, technical concepts and deliverables
• Creates templates or other written materials to be utilized by other consulting colleagues

Business Acumen

• Articulates internal and external business goals and overall strategies needed to attain these goals

Client Development

• Directs, performs, or reviews research (e.g. reviews annual reports/ financial data, undertakes benchmarking, etc.) for business development purposes
• Utilizes and develops spheres of influence to develop new and expanded business

Competencies

• Knowledge in implementing, managing, and auditing an ISO-22301 BCMS
• CBCP, CBCI, ISO22301 / ISO27001 Lead Implementer or Lead auditor certification considered a plus.
• Knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery concepts
• Appreciation and knowledge of resilience, communication backup etc.
• Understanding of various aspects of technology resilience – design and process aspects
• Understanding of BCM related tools and software.

What you need to have:

• Relevant risk management qualification and Bachelor’s degree (ideally Master’s), and relevant fields
• With 10+ years of relevant experience
• Relevant ISO, CBCP and/or MBCI Certifications preferred
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, writing, listening
• Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel (including Macros, VBA), Access and SharePoint

What makes you stand out?

• Business Resilience experience from another major consulting firm is desired with strong domain knowledge and experience in Business Continuity Management
• Ideally with secondary domain knowledge/experience in Cyber/Information Security
• Strong academic rigour
• Familiarity with core statistical concepts e.g., correlation, regressions, significance values, etc.
• Knowhow of programming languages like Python or R and BI tools like Tableau will be a plus
• Ability to take initiatives to strive for improvement in analytical techniques, processes and outputs
