Demand Supply Planner

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply and Demand Planner to optimize our inventory levels and product availability. Your duties will include managing and improving our demand forecasting activities, collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance teams, and ensuring effective inventory management. Responsibilities:  Develop accurate weekly and monthly forecast data.  Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand demand forecast drivers.  Utilize statistical and analytical tools for forecasting.  Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.  Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).  Monitor the accuracy of inventory levels at warehouses to ensure supply meets demand.  Identify and report on inventory trends and slow-moving items.  Assist in the development of sales strategies and setting targets. Job Specifications:  Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role.  Should hold a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent (any field) with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Planner  Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Google Suite).  Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.  Strong statistical knowledge and capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
