About Our Client A prominent healthcare facility located in Saudi Arabia. It is known for its comprehensive medical services, advanced technology, and high-quality patient care Job Description Key Responsibilities: Network Infrastructure:Design, implement, and maintain the hospital's network infrastructure to support medical and administrative functions.Configure and optimize routers, switches, and other networking equipment to ensure reliable and efficient data transfer. Security Infrastructure:Implement and manage security measures to protect patient data, medical records, and other sensitive information.Monitor and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security appliances. Electronic Health Records (EHR) Security:Ensure the security and integrity of electronic health records (EHR) systems.Implement access controls to restrict unauthorized access to patient information. Medical Device Security:Collaborate with biomedical engineers and IT teams to secure medical devices connected to the network, such as patient monitors and infusion pumps. Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about and ensure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations and standards, such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other relevant data protection laws. Incident Response and Forensics:Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches or incidents.Conduct forensic analysis to investigate security incidents and breaches. Security Training:Provide security awareness training to hospital staff, emphasizing the importance of protecting patient information and maintaining cybersecurity best practices. Physical Security Integration:Collaborate with facilities management to integrate physical security measures, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems, with IT security. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure continuous availability of critical healthcare systems. Vendor Management:Work with vendors to ensure that third-party healthcare software and services meet security and compliance standards. Risk Assessment:Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the healthcare IT infrastructure and implement measures to mitigate those risks such as keeping infrastructure and applications current with the latest patches. Communication and Collaboration:Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrators, and IT teams to understand unique security requirements and challenges in a healthcare environment. The Successful ApplicantProven experience (5+ years) in network administration and security, preferably in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, CCIE) preferred.In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption.
