Do you have experience of managing challenging and sensitive enquiries? Are you available for a 6-month fixed term contract? Primary Care 24 (PC24) are excited to share the position of Assistant Shift Manager based at our Primary Care Hub. As an Assistant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Hub Managers in overseeing the safe and efficient day-to-day operational delivery of our PC24 Primary Care Hub service. You will be the first point of contact for all queries, supporting Hub and Operational Managers in ensuring we deliver high standards of patient care in line with Key Performance Indicators. We need someone who has:

  • Experience of working in a changing and challenging environment
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Capability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Experience in using EMIS clinical systems.

What’s on offer?
  • 6 Month fixed term contract
  • £24,657-£28,657 (depending on experience)
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Shifts times are 7.30am-3.30pm and 10.30am-6.30pm
  • NHS pension scheme
  • 27 days annual leave
