Store Keeper

Job Description

Objective and purpose of the job: Implementing plans and organizing all matters related to warehouses (raw materials, finished product, product under operation, and storage spaces), submitting a report to the warehouse manager of the required needs, and organizing the entry and exit of stock in accordance with approved procedures. Roles and responsibilities: - Responsible for implementing the executive plans and programs for the stores, which ultimately lead to achieving the main objectives of the institution - Implementing exchange, return and addition authorizations - Responsible for organizing storage units, shelves, and stock safety in accordance with storage instructions - Supervising workers during the processes of adding stocks, arranging and organizing them correctly in accordance with instructions Proposing improvement, remedial and preventive measures that would improve the work performance of his department - Carrying out all tasks required by the warehouse manager and warehouse coordinator within the limits of work in warehouse management - Submit a weekly report to the warehouse manager and warehouse coordinator to indicate what has been accomplished and what has been postponed, along with an explanation of the reason - All of the above must be done in accordance with the official procedure approved for warehouse management - The storekeeper is responsible for keeping all records of quality models related to warehouse management procedures, and all of his work is subject to internal review Scope of responsibility and supervision: The warehouse keeper is responsible for all the work assigned to him and is fully responsible for all documents that he edits or reviews. He must issue loading orders and work orders, and he is responsible and supervising the warehouse workers. Qualifications: The storekeeper is preferred to hold any of the following qualifications: - Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting Department (Arabic) - Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting (English)- Bachelor of Commerce - Business Administration Department (Arabic) - Bachelor of Commerce - Business Administration Department (English)- Commercial Technical Institute – three years Experiences: The storekeeper must have any of the following previous experiences: - 3:5 experience in the same field Skills: The storekeeper must be proficient in the following skills: 1- Save and recall documents and papers 2- Full knowledge of how to store and full understanding of storage instructions 3- Intermediate administrative skills to manage those under his supervision and distribute work to them 4- Effective communication skills and delivering information to specialists and non-specialists 5- The ability to complete and perform more than one task at the same time without confusion
