SAP SAC/BI/ETL Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP SAC/BI/ETL Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in extracting data from SAP ECC, with deep knowledge of SAP BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and advanced SQL skills. This role involves working closely with various business units to understand their data requirements, extracting and transforming data from SAP ECC systems, and ensuring seamless integration with reporting and analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction from SAP ECC:

Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP ECC modules, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• SAP BI Integration:

Collaborate with the SAP BI team to ensure the effective transfer of data from ECC to SAP BW or other BI systems. Implement best practices for data extraction and transformation within SAP BI. Design and implement data models within SAC, integrating data from SAP ECC and other sources. Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights to business stakeholders.

• Advanced SQL Development:

Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Use SQL to validate data, troubleshoot issues, and enhance data quality.

• ETL Process Management:

Manage and monitor ETL processes, ensuring efficient and timely data flow from SAP ECC to the target systems. Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the data extraction and loading processes.

• Collaboration with Stakeholders:

Work closely with business users, data analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements, provide technical support, and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.

• Documentation:

Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data models, and other relevant project details. Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP ECC data extraction, with a strong focus on ETL processes.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP BI (Business Intelligence) tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for data modeling and reporting.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and data validation.

Analytical Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification(s) in BI, BW, or related areas.
• Experience with other ETL tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
