Finance Intern

Job Description: Finance InternStipend: Upto 20K INRLocation: RemoteShift Time: Full-Time Remote Position 7 am- 4 pm ESTJob Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Controllership function. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting processes and contribute to key financial projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude towards supporting all accounting functions as required.Key Responsibilities:Credit Research:Conduct thorough credit research for customers to assess financial health and risk.Accounts Payable (AP):Enter AP bills accurately and efficiently.Customer Invoicing:Issue customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing.Reconciliation:Perform balance sheet, vendor, and customer reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.Process Documentation:Assist in documenting process maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various accounting processes.Project Support:Assist the Controller in various accounting projects and initiatives.General Support:Provide support to the accounting team as required, including other tasks as assigned.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Pursuing a Chartered Accountant (CA) course is an added advantage.Skills:Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proactive and willing to learn new processes and tools.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Technical Knowledge:Knowledge of Acumatica and MYOB is preferred but not mandatory.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.What We Offer:Hands-on experience in a dynamic accounting environment.Mentorship and guidance from experienced accounting professionals.Opportunities to participate in significant financial projects.A collaborative and supportive work culture.
