Job Summary To formulate and execute the strategies to achieve regional KPIs and provide sales support to internal and external stakeholders in delivering Division/region’s targets. The Regional Manager is also required to groom junior team members to take up bigger roles in the mid-term. Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute strategies in developing and managing agencies of various nature at various locality.
  • Achieve business targets assigned by the Company. Collaborate closely with the agency development team to achieve the new benchmarks set for years ahead.
  • Provide updates to the agency force on the Company’s latest developments and compliance matters.
  • Execute agency transformation activities to achieve a high productivity agency force.
  • Provide timely support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage, track, and monitor agencies’ performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with agency leaders and agents to ensure their performance is on track.
  • Motivate, coach, and provide timely support to the agency force to achieve production targets.
  • Ensure compliance is upheld in conducting life insurance business.
  • Conduct relevant training for the agency force.
  • Plan and organize activities that drive productivity.
Key Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree or Professional Degree in any discipline.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the agency/takaful industry.
  • Result-driven, able to achieve targets assigned, and able to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and expand business with agencies and management.
  • Well-versed in both verbal and written communication skills – English in particular.
  • Ability to converse fluently in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
  • A team player.
  • Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to East Coast Malaysia at times.
