The Assistant Manager MIS role in Gulf Bank in Kuwait involves managing the bank’s management information systems (MIS) to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data and reports to support decision-making processes. This role requires expertise in data analysis, database management, and report generation. Additionally, an Assistant Manager MIS is responsible for managing the MIS team, ensuring the security and confidentiality of data, and identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank’s MIS. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and previous experience in an MIS or data management role.

Qualification and requirements

• You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree in the same field will be an added advantage.
• You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of MIS or IT, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
• You should be well-versed in database management systems, data warehousing, and data analysis tools. You should have a good understanding of programming languages like SQL, Python, and R.
• You should possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
• You should have strong analytical skills to analyze data and provide insights to management.
• You should be able to lead and manage a team of MIS professionals and provide guidance to them.
• You should have a good understanding of banking operations and products.
