Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Officer to oversee all procurement activities at White Space. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring that all purchases align with our quality standards and budgetary requirements. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and ensure that all goods and services are delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. You should also demonstrate strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality in every purchase. Roles and Responsibilities Contribute to Procurement Strateg y: Assist in the development and execution of a strategic procurement plan that supports White Space’s operational goals. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement. Contract Negotiatio n: Negotiate contracts that provide the best value for White Space while ensuring compliance with company policies. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, forecasting future needs to avoid shortages and disruptions in supply. Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand their procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, pricing agreements, and inventory levels. Market Analysis: Stay current with market trends and conduct research to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities. Qualifications Degree: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within a fast-paced environment. Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
