We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now. </p><p><b> Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li> Prepares the Estimate Plan to establish the estimating methodology and cost estimating principles applicable to the estimate preparation. </li><li> Works with Planner to define an appropriate Estimate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in accordance with the customer and project requirement. </li><li> Reviews design scope criteria and quantities for completeness and reasonableness and coordinate with the project to develop additional estimating bases when information is incomplete. </li><li> Ensures collection, verification and integration of work scope into the cost estimate including labour rate derivation, installation rates / construction norms, productivity analysis, and associated engineering and construction costs. </li><li> Develops escalation model where required and assist with the development of owners cost. </li><li> Coordinate identification of areas of risk in the compilation of cost estimates and evaluate appropriate levels of contingency. Where necessary performs Monte Carlo type risk analysis of costs estimates to determine contingency and accuracy levels. </li><li> Assists with cost estimating input into specific studies. Responsible for integration of activities and total work scope identification. Evaluates study results, critical path and recommended conclusions for project team consideration and discussion. </li><li> Ensure that all relevant regional/local factors are taken into account when preparing estimates by organising and participating in location surveys and data research. </li><li> Performs scenario comparisons and uncertainty analysis and sensitivities on cost estimates, reflecting analysis of project risks. Manage reviews and assurance of cost estimates. Benchmark against historical performance, industry norms and established KPIs. </li><li> Supports development estimating standards and procedures. Compiles, summarizes, updates and maintain estimate and historical cost data. </li><li> Develops benchmarking packages at appropriate level to check estimate results from top down versus both internal and external comparable data. </li><li> Participate in cost and schedule risk analyses and provide mitigation proposals to the project teams. Provide cost engineering advice (including estimating, planning, cost control and risk analysis) to project teams and other stakeholders. </li><li> Aligns with Business Managers on business objectives for each estimate before issuance. </li><li> Prepares and presents cost estimating information to management/customer. </li><li> Delivering of Capital Cost Estimates with focus on enhancing accuracy and execution. </li><li> Leadership skills in Estimating with ability to handle complex multi-office projects. </li><li> Customer Interface - Build strong relationships with key clients and grow business through consistent team performance. </li><li> Provides ‘on the job’ training and mentoring. </li></ul><p><b> Job Specific Knowledge: </b></p><ul><li> Experience in project delivery. </li><li> Commercial awareness and business case analysis (e.g., modest level of competency with economic analysis). </li><li> Proven success with benchmarking and data analytic skills. </li><li> Ability to mitigate risks effectively through commercial analysis and positive decision making. Interest to drive Energy Transition and Digital, as they are key transformational strategic pillars. </li></ul><p><b> Industry Specific Experience: </b></p><ul><li> Relevant practical experience in the preparing Class 1 to Class 5 estimates as per AACEI Estimate Classification for the Oil &amp; Gas, Refinery or Petrochemicals projects. </li><li> Engineering and Construction Experience is a must. </li><li> Experience in commercial contracting models/risk profiles and project scopes/phases (FEL/EPC/EPCM &amp; Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc). <p>Basic Reservoir Engineering Activities</p>

<ul>
	<li>Preparation of Engineering Data for the dynamic model for the required zones.

		<li>Analyse the production and injection data available.</li>
		<li>Review/Build Relative Permeability and capillary pressure curves using the available SCAL data and petrophysics.</li>
		<li>Build VFP tables for dynamic model.</li>
		<li>Interpret all the available MDT / RFT data.</li>
		<li>Review and update the PVT data used in dynamic model versus the available PVT reports.</li>

	</li>
	<li>Investigation of compartmentalization using the available formation pressure measurement and identification of sealing/non-sealing faults.</li>
	<li>Preparing the input data for the new dynamic model using the newly constructed Geo-cellular static model that is based on best technical estimates of all parameters, and all available engineering data.</li>

<p>Dynamic Simulation Modelling<br />
Based on the outputs from the basic reservoir engineering work and from the single static model that integrates project structures with target reservoirs, a dynamic model will be built:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Dynamic model History Match: This activity consists in history-matching Field production data. Gas rates will be used as main constraint at the well level control and reservoir pressure and phase ratios gas/oil ratio GOR and Water Cut will be closely matched at the field and well level.</li>
	<li>The Tubing Head Pressure will be matched using the VFP leading to the possibility to control, if required, the wells by THP during the prediction phase.</li>
</ul>

<p>Prediction and Development plan<br />
The new dynamic model will form the basis for defining a range of development scenarios, recommending the optimum development plan to maximize recovery from fields.<br />
Generate various development scenarios to comprise sensitivities on well configuration, spacing as well as drilling and work-over schedule for respectively the new and existing wells. Investigation could be done on gas injection with the definition of the appropriate patterns.<br />
Participate in building integrated coupled surface & subsurface model in order to propose an alternative plan to maximize the production and recovery factor.<br />

Below are more details about this role.<br><br>RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br><ul> <li>Responsible for process design and prepare/review the basis of design, process specification, data sheets, process drawings such as PFDs / P&IDs / DPTDs / PSFS etc. and other process deliverables on a project</li> <li>Carry out process simulation using HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, PipeNet and Pipesim etc. and prepare heat and material balance</li> <li>Undertake detailed calculations to develop the process design and be responsible for the accuracy of these calculations</li> <li>Carryout equipment sizing, line sizing, pump hydraulics, safety relief calculations and produce process calculation report</li> <li>Carryout dynamic simulation study, transient study, surge study, Minimum Metal Design Temperature (MDMT) study, etc.</li> <li>Carryout depressurization studies, flare load estimation and flare system design</li> <li>Ensuring that the design is carried out as per the industry standard practices and in conformance with the quality management system</li> <li>Participate in PHA, HAZOP and other safety reviews</li> <li>Be willing to mentor and engage in the training and development of junior engineers in the team</li> <li>Identification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Lead Engineer / Discipline heads</li> <li>Assimilating the evolution of new products and technology and updating oneself on the latest international standards in terms of engineering design practices and their applications</li> <li>Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing, and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems and assist Project and client team for decision making</li> <li>As Senior Discipline Engineer, when assigned on projects, responsible for managing the team of engineers and designers and delivering the engineering requirements of the project</li> <li>Support on tender or proposal, as per client standards, international codes, and project scope of work</li> <li>Assisting in the preparation of project proposals and pre - qualification documents in what relates to Process engineering design</li> </ul><br><br>QUALIFICATIONS<br><br><ul> <li> Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region </li> <li> Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing team of Engineers and designers </li> <li>Offshore experience is must, whilst ADNOC experience is desired</li> <li>Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage</li> <li>Proficient in Process Simulation software's such as HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, PipeNet, Pipesim, OLGA etc.</li> <li>Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software</li> <li>Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards</li> </ul>',
