Field Support Specialist (Drill Bits)

Job Summary: Dedicated Field Engineer committed to working flexible hours fully responding to the team and work needs to achieve the overall team goals. The Field Support Specialist (Drill Bits) will provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and customer service for our range of drilling products. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with drill bits and a strong understanding of drilling operations. This role requires frequent travel to various field locations to ensure the optimal performance of our products and to support our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support: Provide on-site technical assistance and troubleshooting for drill bit operations. Conduct performance analysis and provide recommendations for drill bit optimization. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of drill bits and associated equipment.
2. Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively. Conduct regular site visits to monitor drill bit performance and address any issues. Provide training and support to client personnel on the use of drill bits and related equipment.
3. Data Collection and Reporting: Collect and analyze performance data from drill bit operations. Prepare detailed reports on drill bit performance and suggest improvements. Maintain accurate records of all service visits and client interactions.
4. Product Development: Provide feedback to the engineering and product development teams based on field observations. Participate in the testing and evaluation of new drill bit designs and technologies.
5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all field operations comply with company safety policies and industry regulations. Conduct safety briefings and drills as necessary.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED: Field Service Engineer with at least 3 years' experience in Drill Bits and 5 years’ experience in the Oil Field. Educational qualification degree: Geology, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent in Oilfield major. Language: Arabic (preferred) and English fluent in reading and writing.
