Job details

The primary role of the Accountant is to support the functional activities in accounting and reporting. This will include receivables & payable accounting, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, cash and banking accounting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts payable – Supplier payments, reconciliation, follow-ups for payments
  • Follow up with internal team on Purchase orders status, advance payments, retentions.
  • General Ledger/accounting posting and reconciliations on daily/monthly basis
  • Reconcile and maintain related party transactions (Inter-co) and bank reconciliation.
  • Ledger scrutiny and timely reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts on monthly basis
  • Review current systems, assess risks and controls related to processes and support in designing appropriate internal controls to protect company assets.
  • Handle independently accounting, compliance and audit of smaller legal entities.
  • Cross function support - Coordinate and support Finance with Information and Analysis.

Candidate Requirements

A minimum of 1-4 years of experience working as an Accountant preferably in a multinational environment. Sound knowledge of accounting and internal controls. Analytical mindset with good problem solving and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office with hands-on knowledge of ERP systems. Strong team orientation.
