Know more: Website / Instagram / LinkedIn About the role: As a Business Operations Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational activities of the furniture manufacturing unit. This role involves ensuring process excellence, owning the P&L of the unit, driving process optimization initiatives and help us achieve our goals of blending cultural immersion with cutting-edge design. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and financial management. What You Will Be Doing

  • Operational Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team of professionals, including production managers, craftsmen, and quality control experts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Process Excellence: Implement best practices in process management and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and increase productivity.
  • P&L Ownership: Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions to address any deviations.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of rigorous quality control measures to maintain our commitment to producing high-quality, sustainable, and visually appealing furniture pieces.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including human capital, equipment, and budgets, to meet production targets and contribute to the company's profitability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the design and creative teams to bring their concepts to life and ensure that our furniture collections reflect the essence of global cultural narratives and post-modern aesthetics.
  • Sustainability: Implement and maintain sustainable practices within the manufacturing process, from sourcing materials to waste reduction, to align with the company's commitment to eco-friendly design.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the manufacturing process complies with all relevant industry standards and regulations, and lead efforts to obtain necessary certifications.
  • Technology Integration: Stay up-to-date with emerging manufacturing technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
What You Bring To The Table
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in a senior operations management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in furniture manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of global design trends, cultural narratives, and post-modern aesthetics.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing and maintaining sustainable manufacturing practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and systems.
  • A commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a passion for creating visually appealing and culturally-inspired furniture.
