JOIN OUR WINNING TEAM! We are seeking a Cost Estimator to join our local team. Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Signage / Manufacturing / Fabrication
- Calculate, evaluate, and estimate daily inquiries from the sales and project engineers.
- Calculate costs based on fit for purpose.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Communicate with other departments, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Meet targets and schedules for costing and project delivery.
- Analytical skills to analyze project requirements and accurately estimate costs for each component.
- Critical thinking and solid decision-making skills.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and provide timely cost estimates.
- Calculate contract costs to ensure profitability.
- Prepare, process, and submit bids to supply signs or displays.
- Develop project plans by calculating costs to meet client specifications, considering materials, equipment, labor, and other requirements.
- Analyze blueprints and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
