HGV Class 1 driver trainers required for our depot in Rugby, HGV training experience required. *Rate*: PAYE £15.50 Monday - Friday days. *The role:*· Provide coaching and training to Class 1 drivers with a view to them passing an on site assessment. · Conduct thorough training sessions on vehicle checks, coupling and uncoupling procedures, and reversing techniques. · Educate drivers on driving hours regulations and best practices. · Monitor and evaluate drivers’ performance, providing constructive feedback. · Ensure all training activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. *Requirements:*· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). · Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. · No more than 6 points on licence, No IN DR or CD Codes. · Excellent communication and teaching skills. · Patience, attentiveness, and the ability to provide constructive feedback. · Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test. · Full understanding of WTD legislation. · A safety-first mindset.
