Head of Supply Chain - Wicklow

Head of Supply Chain - Wicklow A successful Irish food company with a passion for importing high quality Food and Wine products, is now hiring a Head of Supply Chain to support the business growth. My client selects, imports, and distributes top quality food and wine to 32 counties. We have a workforce of over 80 employees, with a large number of customers and suppliers.

Role

Responsibilities:

1. This is a broad role, including responsibility for all warehouse, transport/logistics, customer services, and procurement activities.
2. A hands-on role at the heart of operations which will work in a collaborative manner with all other departments such as sales, finance, HR, and on occasion your group counterpart/colleagues.
3. The successful candidate will develop and periodically report on agreed KPIs.
4. Drive the projects within the Supply Chain that are required to deliver our growth plans.
5. Coaching direct reports with their development plans.
6. Supporting our UK branch if required.

Requirements:

1. Experience in supply chain with a clear track record of delivery in a fast-paced/growth environment.
2. Food industry knowledge.
3. A clear and effective communicator at all levels of the organization.
4. Hands-on operator who can manage diverse demands, mentor/support direct reports, and deliver expectations.
5. Self-starter, can take initiative, apply knowledge, and make a difference.
6. Proven leader, capable of motivating and building effective teams.
7. Commercial role which will engage with sales and finance on a regular basis.
