The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Delivery Lead to join our Enterprise Delivery team to manage strategic initiatives across various business units and technology platforms. As a Senior Delivery Lead, you will have the exciting opportunity to support senior management by focusing on the delivery of high-quality projects that prioritise value over constraints. Your ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration will be essential in driving business success and ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the delivery of key strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Applying both waterfall and agile methodologies to drive project success, with a focus on quality and value
  • Collaborating with Business Owners and Sponsors to achieve project outcomes through strong governance and transparent reporting
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to Delivery Leads, helping to develop their skills and ensure the successful delivery of their projects
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the Enterprise Delivery team in fostering a high-performance culture, while ensuring adherence to governance and risk management processes
  • Continuously improving delivery processes and contributing to the development of agile project methodologies
  • Providing regular reporting on risks, issues, and project outcomes.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
  • A minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with expertise in both waterfall and agile frameworks
  • Proven track record in the financial or insurance sectors
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience leading large teams and driving organisational change
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
  • A recognised project management qualification or certification
  • A solid understanding of project management principles, with a focus on delivering business value and maintaining strategic alignment.
