At HCL Software we develop, market, sell and support over 20 product families in the areas of Customer Experience, Digital Solutions, Secure DevOps, Security & Automation.https://www.hcltechsw.com/appscan.About the job SDET / Automation QA (6 to 11 Yrs of total Experience) Office Location: HCL Bangalore Work Preference: Hybrid (Remote) CTC Range: (Between 24L to 27L) Brief Description of Job Role: The role entails gaining proficiency in the leading Application Security tool - HCL AppScan, with a primary focus on thoroughly testing its offerings and integrations to detect any potential flaws in both existing and new features. Additionally, the role involves actively contributing to the development of automation test coverage to enhance overall testing efficiency. Automated testing will constitute 60% of the testing efforts, while manual testing will make up the remaining 40%. Skills Required: • Software Development Engineer in Testing (SDET) • Working experience with any programming language (C#, Python recommended) • Knowledge of Test automation frameworks(Sikuli, Selenium) and DevSecOps, tools like Git and Jira • Expertise in testing Windows, Web applications & REST APIs • Strong Analytical & problem-solving skills • Understanding of Agile methodologies • Knowledge of Web technology, such as Web servers, Web Application standards HTTP and networking and in Application security will be preferred • Experience with Web API tools: Postman, SoapUI will be an added advantage Education: • Must be a Graduate, Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or Master of Computer Science.
