Candidates coming from the Educational Institutions in the GCC will be preferred.Characteristic Job Tasks and Responsibilities:- Performs grant closeout functions required for the grants and contracts including reconciliations, financial status reports, final invoices, purchase order liquidations, zeroing out budgets, and final reporting; reviews general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and complete journal entries.- Assists with time and effort reporting system, ensuring it is complete and in compliance with applicable regulations; maintains regular communications with department; communicates with fiscal contacts at funding source for problem resolution and information gathering.- Supports the sponsored programs department in education and training of principal investigators and administrators; assesses needs and resolves issues of the principal investigator related to grants accounting; performs analysis and support for projects.- Responsible for related accounting duties; serves as the appropriate principal investigator's contact for grants and contract accounting functions.- Supports whenever is needed in implementing financial policies and procedures for grants and contracts to ensure compliance with funding agency guidelines Job Category Accounting & Audit Job Requirements Experience Min: 3 Years Career LevelSenior Job TypeFull Time Vacancies3 Open Positions Salary Negotiable GenderAny Degree LevelBachelor's degree Faculty / Institute Any Major Accounting Age Any NationalityAny Residence Location Any Languages English - Fluent / Excellent Own a CarAny Have Driving LicenseAny Job Skills Qualifications/ Requirements:- BA or BS in Major Accounting or Finance.- 3+ years of Experience in general accounting functions or auditing, preferably in universities or non-profit grant management environment.- Excellent English Verbal and written communication skills- Skilled in excel, outlook and accounting software; ORACLE Financials Modules is preferred.- Demonstrates ability of multitasking, prioritize, meet deadlines, work independently, have initiative and maintain confidentiality.- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective interactions with individuals at all levels.
