*We’re looking for a Solicitor or Legal Executiveto join us in Bradford.**This is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.* As part of the continued growth of our Legal Operations Team at Liberty Shared Services (LSS), as we go through an exciting period of expansion and change, we are looking for a qualified legal professional to focus on handling claims made on behalf of the various consumer brands as well as defending claims made against them. In this role, you will be responsible for running your own portfolio of matters using a case management system and have access to some of the latest technology to help you in day-to-day activities, whilst being supported by a Team Manager and Senior Manager to ensure you continue to grow and progress in your legal career. We’re a dynamic, high-growth and tech-led group of businesses, where you would be ideally suited as a proven newly qualified or post-qualified Solicitor a degree of real estate, property and/or wayleave/code agreements experience, or as an accomplished Wayleave Officer, with the desire to develop your career with a global market leader. *What will you be doing?** You will analyse new claim instructions and collaborate with legal teams to progress claims, across wayleave, trespass and diversion caseloads. * Whilst offering high levels of internal stakeholder management, you will act as an escalation point for Wayleave Officers and liaise externally with landlords, council representatives and residents. * You will undertake legal research using specialised data sources and keep up to date with current case law and legislation to support the business, and your cases and to help and support paralegals and legal apprentices within the department. * Utilising our systems, you will design and test various automation solutions with C&I Business Partners and provide insight to various stakeholders across the business and with our customers. *We tend to look for people with:** Proven as a qualified Solicitor/FCILEX in real estate, property and/or wayleave/code agreements experience, or as an accomplished Wayleave Officer. * Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the willingness and ability to support other team members at various stages of their career. * High levels of attention to detail, prioritisation and accuracy, through effective self-review, and critically challenging data inputs and explanations. * Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and insatiable curiosity, to get to the bottom of complex issues involving interacting processes and systems. * Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities whilst ensuring effective resource utilisation. *What’s in it for you?** Competitive salary + Bonus * 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more * Access to well-being and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance * Matched pension contribution up to 10%* Access to our car benefit scheme * Access to our online learning platform to continue to develop and grow your career with us * The chance to join an innovative, fast-paced and passionate team _*Who we are:*_ We’re building Tomorrow’s Connections Today, bringing people together through the power of our technology.
