Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our Sales ERP software . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, with specific expertise in ERP systems tailored to sales processes. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business and customer needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the Sales ERP software, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that development teams are working on the highest-value features and enhancements.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams, to gather detailed product requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
- Feature Development: Work closely with development teams to design, develop, and launch new features and enhancements for the Sales ERP software, ensuring they meet the needs of end-users.
- Customer Feedback: Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and incorporate their input into the product roadmap.
- Sprint Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering value in each iteration.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including IT, finance, and customer support, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the Sales ERP software.
- Product Documentation: Oversee the creation of detailed product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to drive continuous improvement and inform future product decisions.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure the Sales ERP software remains competitive and innovative.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on ERP software, preferably within the sales domain.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ERP systems, software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies. Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey product concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer-Focused: Deep understanding of customer needs within the sales environment, with a strong focus on delivering user-centric solutions.
- Experience with leading ERP solutions such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and related technologies.
- Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
