THE ROLE: The Server Platform Debug team is a global organization with the key objective to solve system-level issues arising from the validation of AMD data center products. We are a key function in ensuring AMD can deliver world-class quality products within the project schedule. As part of the Server Platform Debug team, you will play a role in the winning team that works closely with architecture, design, and validation to deliver the hardware and software technologies of next-generation computing platforms, accelerating AMD to have the highest-performing compute system in the world. We’re hiring a graduate trainee to help develop debug capability and perform data analytics for the next generation of AMD’s flagship CPU products. The applicant will gain exposure in data analytics with AI and learn modern AMD X86 CPU architecture, debug tools and methodologies, debug processes, and will gain vast post-silicon research and development experience. THE PERSON: A highly motivated self-starter, who is passionate about CPU architecture, solving problems, and reaching goals. The candidate should have strong electronics fundamental knowledge, excellent coding fundamentals, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills. They are a great team player who can collaborate well with others on their team, as well as with other business units. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bringing up and enabling the latest Server Platforms.
• Debugging system-level (HW/SW/FW) issues reported from validation to unblock validation and accelerate product development.
• Developing tools, scripts, infrastructure, processes, and flows to accelerate the root cause of logical bugs in SOC/FW/SW.
• Testing and validating debug-related features on the latest server platform.
• Working on related projects and/or assignments as needed.

• Self-starter with the ability to multitask across several projects.
• Strong fundamentals in electronics.
• Basic programming skills with Python/C/C++.
• Familiarity with x86 computer architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical/computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent with CGPA above 3.0.
