The Senior Data Quality Analyst provides continuous automated/manual testing of data sets for use in internal data systems. The data quality analyst works alongside the data technology team with Data Architect, Data Engineers & Data Modeler. Responsibilities:The data quality engineer will write testing plans and routines, manage continuous integration and regression testing processes, and be the point person for clearing data for release according to delivery specifications. The technician must be able to function effectively in a high-volume, rapid delivery environment in which publicly available data must meet data, security and accessibility specifications without fail.➢ Understanding & analysing the requirements, and preparing various test documents such as Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases and Test Scripts.➢ Preparing ETL source to target mapping documents.➢ Analyse and understand the ETL workflows developed.➢ Understanding of the data model.➢ Perform heavy data validations on data lakes / data warehouses and ETL processes testing.➢ Validation of data transformations and perform End-to-End data validation for ETL & BI systems.➢ Able to write complex SQL queries for validating business rules.➢ Perform both Blackbox and Whitebox testing.➢ Good knowledge in Unix Scripting and MS Excel. ➢ Good problem solving & debugging.Additional responsibilities:➢ Work with product managers and development leads to create testing strategies.➢ Work with data engineers to develop automated tests.➢ Design, monitor and maintain QA reports, KPIs & quality trends for the internal data systems.➢ Create test plans and test cases.➢ Execute and automate test cases and perform bug tracking.➢ Help create and implement quality processes and requirements.Experience / Qualification:➢ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) ➢ Minimum 6 years of experience in ETL/Big Data & BI Testing using any data ops tool in ETL testing using Talend/Informatica in Big Data platform using Hive and other Big Data Tools with advanced SQL & data analytical skills. ➢ Reconciliation, Historical Load, Incremental, Data Validation, Business rules validation, API, Streaming and all other testing related to ETL.➢ Should Automate testing with tools like iCEDQ.➢ Heavy backend/big data testing using SQL, Hive and NoSQL languages.➢ Candidate should have good communication, presentation skills and able to provide Clear and Solid daily status report with progress.➢ Knowledgeable about industry data compliance strategies and practices, such as continuous integration, regression testing and versioning.➢ Understanding the Informatica / Snowflake ETL jobs & transformations➢ Preferred Qualifications:➢ Data is a strong plus.➢ Ability to read/write SQL queries is a plus.➢ Experience working in a Big Data environment, dealing with large diverse data sets.➢ Familiarity with Python is a plus.➢ Competitive salary and benefits package.➢ Opportunity to work on a variety of projects and industries.➢ Opportunity to work with a team of experienced and talented professionals.➢ Access to cutting-edge tools and technologies.➢ Opportunity to grow and develop your skills through ongoing learning and development opportunities.Salary: Commensurate with experience and demonstrated competence Contact: hr@bigtappanalytics.com Contact Informations: Click here to upload your CV / Resume We accept PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG and PNG files
